Discuss whether it is legitimate to talk about “Christianity” or “Christianity-s”? Or must we admit that the exclusion of groups because of their interpretations and practices that has been going on almost since Christianity began, (heresy, Gnosticism, the Reformation, etc.), means that there is no normative Christianity, no “true” Christianity?
There are groups that exclude every other type of Christianity than their own as fundamentally wrong and totally corrupt. How should we approach questions of what constitutes a religion given the often-radical differences between traditions within it?
Is there a “true” or “pure “religion for any religion? Remember our basic questions: What is there? What should I think about it?
